Nyree Reed is a inspirational speaker, author, actress and a nurse.
Nyree passionately inspires women in overcoming past experiences and everyday life challenges through motivational inspiration by sharing the Word of God. Nyree’s spiritual journey and pathway to peace, led her to a passion for helping women mature in their spiritual growth and seeing their value as a Queen. Nyree started Queens Uplifting, a daily commitment that she dedicated to her closest friends “Queen Team”, which inspired her to build the vision in sharing this same impartation to the rest of the world.
Nyree was born and raised in Paterson, New Jersey as an only child, spent her childhood throughout the state of New Jersey adapting to difficult life experiences. Nyree had some major traumatic life events that shaped her into having a passion to help other women surviving to “finding their voice and losing the fear” of the guilt and shame from the stigma placed by society. Nyree’s passion to encourage women in forgiving their past, finding their voice, and speaking their truth in hopes of healing women’s emotional wounds, and inspiring them to walk in their designed purpose that God created them to be.
Nyree’s 26 year career began working in the healthcare field as a Certified Medical Assistant in 1998 at the age of 24 after struggling to find her place in the world as a high school dropout, pregnant at age 19 and being a single mother of a baby boy. She has since worked as a Supervisor, Manager and Clinical Access Nurse Navigator advocating for her patients during her 16 years with Cooper University Hospital. Nyree has served her faith-based community over the past 18 years in numerous roles such as Director and Service Coordinator in areas of Theater Ministry, Praise Dance, Prayer, and Pastoral Care to name a few. Nyree served in the theater ministry for over a decade, acting, writing, directing skits, theatrical productions, stage management and administrative duties. Nyree’s passion for acting, and creative arts in theater led her to leading roles not only in the church community but also casted for productions such as Perfectly Broken 2015 and 2021, The Word Made Flesh 2015 and Already Defeated 2023.
Nyree is a published author and has recently released her new book, “Queens Uplifting: 21 Day Devotional“ designed to help women grown in their faith, believe in God's Word and receive His promises.
Nyree has a passion for empowering women to heal from broken places and overcoming traumatic life experiences. Nyree has committed herself by giving back to the homeless through street ministry offering a simple brown paper bag lunch, prayer and a smile.
Nyree aka “Spoiled Queen Wifey” is married to her number one supporter and mental health advocate speaker Douglas Reed, and is the mother of one son Jazmir. Nyree and her husband are a “power couple” always serving together fulfilling the assignment of being a catalyst agent for a generation of hurting people finding their way out of the dark ashes of their past.

Queens Uplifting Book
My new book "Queens Uplifting" is 21-day devotional designed to help you grow in your faith. Each day, you will find a teaching, declaration, a prayer, and journal questions. The teaching is a short passage from the Bible, followed by a brief reflection on its meaning. The declaration is a statement of faith that you can speak over yourself. The prayer is a way to apply the teaching to your life. And the journaling questions are designed to help you reflect on what you have learned.
Here is a suggested way to use this book:
- Start by reading the teaching. Take some time to reflect on what it means to you.
- Next, read the declaration. Speak it over yourself with faith.
- Then, pray the prayer. Ask God to help you apply the teaching to your life.
- Finally, answer the journaling questions. Take some time to reflect on what you have learned and how you can apply it to your life.
You can use this book in any way that works for you. You can read it from cover to cover, or you can skip around to the days that speak to you. You can read it alone, or you can read it with a friend or family member. The most important thing is to be open to what God wants to teach you.
